“Where is Your Story?”
This book, The P.I.L.O.T. Method, came from the thought. How do I tell my story and help empower people in their own life?
It wasn’t easy… As I was writing this book, it got personal. It forced me to evaluate not only the memories from my experiences but how I thought when I was in those defining moments in my life. Why did I make the decision to become a Helicopter Pilot? How did I think through the possibilities?
Writing this book was introspective for me, and early on, I sent my editor an email: “This is getting so personal!”
Her response back to me? “That is what will make it good!”
So, it stayed personal. My hope is that you having these insights into how I think (scary at times!) will help you lead yourself through the twists and turns in life.
The 5 Elemental Truths spell out PILOT:
P for Potential- You have it! Are you confident in it?
I for Implementation- What are you doing with that potential?
What do you do when you get stuck?
L for Leadership- Elizabeth’s three Pillars of Leadership and how they apply to you!
O for Optimize- Are you like your best life? You CAN!
T for Tenacity- Not giving up. By the way, that means NOT GIVING UP!
And to make The P.I.L.O.T. Method even better, I brought in a few Pilot friends to share their experiences and their thought processes too.
A special THANK YOU to the Pilots for their stories:

Are you a PILOT or do you know a PILOT with a story to share?
I’d love to hear about it.
I’ll be bringing in Pilot stories for my next book in the works now:
